Sin Lineas en El Mapa en Concierto
El duo de musica tradicional Suramericana se presenta por primera vez en Austin, como parte de su gira Latinoamericana “Hay Locuras” Luz Maria Carriquiry cantante y Eulogio Moros, cuatro Venezolano y guitarra, son fundadores del grupo conocido como “Sin Lineas en El Mapa” iniciaron esta gira en Argentina a principios del 2009 y han ido cantado literalmente por toda Latinoamerica en mas de 50 escenarios. Para las personas interesadas en aprender a ejecutar este maravilloso instrumento o para aquellos que deseen mejorar su tecnica. Tambien conoce y aprecia las distintas variaciones de la música Venezolana y Peruana usando instrumentos como el Cajon Peruano y las maracas. Los interesados de preferencia traerán su instrumento, pero si no tienen uno disponible, se contará con instrumentos adicionales para alternar con los estudiantes que no tengan. Esta sera una sesión de gran provecho para musicos y aspirantes y asi ampliar su conocimiento de las raices de la musica Latinoamericana.

The South American duet will be in Austin for first time as part of their “Hay Locuras Tour”, a journey that started early this year in Argentina. Venezuelan Cuatro and Peruvian Rythms Workshop
For those interested in learning to play this wonderful instrument or for those wanting to improve their technique. You will learn rythmic patterns and variations of traditional Venezuelan and Peruvian music. You will learn Venezuelan Cuatro strums as well as the Peruvian Cajon and Maracas. The attendees are encouraged to bring their own instrument but we will have some extra available to help the participants that do not have one but still want to learn more about it.
